My name is Ijeoma, which directly translated means GOOD Journey. I’m a professional, mum, sister, and daughter. My story is an extension of, and embodies the teachings of my dear parents, and of their contribution to leave behind a better world. I love bringing creative ideas to life, while creating solutions to problems.
The name of our eponymous brand -OMA- is derived from the Igbo Language of Nigerian origin, and it means "GOOD". We find our roots in our rich African heritage; and with the knowledge that "every GOOD tree brings forth GOOD fruit", we have canvassed the globe to bring you the best nature has to offer. Responsibly sourced and eco friendly because our largest organ needs GOOD food to thrive!
Oma Organics was borne from a desire to create natural, plant based, organic solutions to the problem of chemical ridden commercially produced body care products. Inspired by a desire to create safe products for my children, and furthermore our greater community.
I have been hard at work to contribute GOODness to the world, drawing from my share of life's challenges. The finished product has been worth every sleepless night, toil, sweat and tears. Nonetheless, I have enjoyed the process of experimenting, discovering and creating solutions and formulations: GOOD enough for my family and yours!

We are Plant-Based
We are an organic brand, utilizing wildcrafted, all-natural ingredients. We bring you formulas handcrafted from the finest natural ingredients, sourced responsibly from women's cooperatives throughout the world. We source from the earth because the earth supplies all our needs
Sustainable Use
To top it off, we package our products in eco-friendly and sustainable bamboo and glass (which can be sanitized and reused as spice jars, cotton pad storage, makeup brushes), etc., in keeping with our continued responsibility to our GOOD EARTH. We strive to be a zero waste company, utilizing hardwood shavings in our packaging materials as well as recycled pulp shipping/packaging boxes. Furthermore, we utilize little to no outer packaging on our individual products and wrap our soaps in Biolefin TM, a 100% biodegradable (Oxo-biodegradable) plastic shrink wrap that quickly bio-degrades into food for bacteria and other micro-organism's after entering the environment. Because our environment dictates environmental consciousness!
Social Responsibility
We are a global community and our responsibility extends to our supply chain. We purchase our raw materials from women's cooperatives around the world, as it is our desire that our business makes a positive impact on our global community. We believe in Fair Trade and feel privileged to be a part of a process that benefits the communities far and wide. Because we are our sister's keeper!
OUR WHY
"I REALIZED THAT I HAD NEGLECTED TO COVER THE LARGEST ORGAN, THE SKIN!"
Several years ago, as my son struggled with respiratory issues and severe eczema, I embarked on a detoxification mission, to rid my household of all toxic products. We rid our pantry of food with artificial ingredients, threw out chemical wrought cleaning products, and replaced them with all natural and organic products. In my quest for purity, I realized that I had neglected to cover our largest organ - our SKIN!

Then I embarked on a mission to create a body butter formula that featured ingredients that my ancestors used, ingredients that made their skin glisten beneath the African sun, smooth as butter, and supple as a baby’s bottom!
Because our skin, like our other vital organs, thrives when fed GOOD food!
With that, Oma Organics was born. We’re pleased to share with you our formulas that took time and research to concoct. A line of all-natural organic skincare products, GOOD enough for my children, and GOOD enough for our extended family- YOU!
